Description
B&G TSG-51 Teflon Seat Gasket
The B&G TSG-51 Teflon Seat Gasket is manufactured by B&G Equipment and is a replacement located on the Ban Drip Valve assembly of B&G Primeline Sprayers. The seat gasket is located between the valve rod and the tip cap of the valve.
When the seat gasket is worn, damaged or dirty it can effect the performance of the spray valve or cause a leak. Replacing the seat gasket can potentially stop the leaking and get your sprayer performing like normal.
Tools Needed:
To remove and replace the seat gasket, you will need gloves and 2 wrenches to properly take apart the Ban-Drip Valve Assembly to get to the part.
How to Use:
Step 1: Before starting, you will need to decompress the tank and flush out any chemicals that could be left in the wand. To flush out the tank simply add clean water to the tank and triple rinse. Once the tank is clean you will need a clean working area preferably a table to dismantle the unit due to the many small parts.
Step 2: Using a wrench, detach the Ban-Drip valve body from the hose then carefully unscrew the tip and tip cap at the front of the valve. Remove the seat gasket holder to expose the seat gasket.
Step 3: Remove the old seat gasket and replace with the new Teflon Seat Gasket. You can then reassemble the Ban drip valve, going backward until it is put back together.
Step 4: Add clean water to the tank and test valve by spraying the unit, ensuring there are no leaks or performance issues.
Where to Use
The B&G TSG-51 Teflon Seat Gasket is used in B&G Sprayer wands with the Ban-Drip Valve and it is located on the valve rod and pin after after removing the tip and tip cap assembly.
