KN95 Respirators are recognized by the CDC for protection against the Covid-19 virus as an alternative N95 equivalent. They do not require testing by US National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health.
The intended use and purpose of a KN95 is to reduce wearer’s exposure to particles including small particle aerosols and droplets. KN95s filter out 95% of airborne particles as does an N95 Respirator. KN95 Respirators offer wearers more inhalation protection than a Surgical Mask. Folds flat for convenient storage.
