Highly attractive to imported and native fire ants, as well as other ant species, ProBait works via ingestion. Worker ants carry ProBait back to the mound as food for the colony, where they eat it and feed it to the queen. ProBait starts to work immediately, killing the queen in about a week. Once the queen is dead, the colony is effectively destroyed.
